Minimum Qualifications
1) A minimum of ten (10) years of broad, extensive, and increasingly responsible experience applying PM principles, methods, techniques, and tools to projects. At least five (5) years of that experience must have been as a senior project manager or project director of one or more large and complex projects. Large and complex project experience is defined as experience implementing a system that includes a public facing portal having at least one (1) million system users and a project cost of at least $15 million ($15, 000,000).
2) A minimum of three (3) years consulting experience for a project worth at least $50 million ($50,000,000).
3) A minimum of five (5) years' experience performing in a Technical Lead or Project Manager role on projects with government agencies.
4) Must have experience working with executive leadership team providing project status and communication.
5) At least four (4) years working on projects requiring Organizational Change Management to be incorporated as a part of the project.
6) Must have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
7) A valid Project Management Professional (PMP) certification issued by the Project Management Institute (PMI).
Desired Qualifications
1) A minimum of fifteen (15) years of broad, extensive, and increasingly responsible experience applying PM principles, methods, techniques, and tools to projects. At least seven (7) years of that experience must have been as a senior project manager or project director of one or more large and complex projects. Large and complex project experience is defined as experience implementing a system that includes a public facing portal having at least one (1) million system users and a project cost of at least $15 million ($15, 000,000).
2) A minimum of five (5) years consulting experience for a project worth at least $50 million ($50,000,000).
3) A minimum of seven (7) years' experience performing in a Technical Lead or Project Manager role on projects with government agencies.
4) Master's degree from an accredited university.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
Lead project coordinator responsible for maintaining schedule, prioritizing issues for resolution, identifying, and managing risks, evaluating documentation and artifacts for completion and accuracy, evaluating work product for completion, and other project management requirements.
Project Scheduling: Manage timelines, deadlines, and schedule changes. Prioritize issues to make sure key deadlines can be met and communicate critical scheduling issues with the project management and leadership teams.
Project Coordination: Support coordination with the marketing teams and Block Grant teams as appropriate to make sure that information is consistent and that issues are prioritized and escalated, as necessary. Help make sure messaging is appropriate and consistent to help resolve implementation challenges.
Deliverables Management: Review third party vendor deliverables and artifacts for completion and accuracy and coordinate revisions with the vendor. Track deliverables schedules and prioritize as appropriate.
General Troubleshooting: Identify potential issues and work with the vendor and management team to prepare and resolve. Prioritize issues for resolution and identify issues that need to be escalated to the management and leadership teams. Provide capacity for innovative problem solving and implementation.
Prepare weekly & monthly timesheets for contract invoicing review and approval which include Activity Reports to identify Tasks In-Progress (with percentage of completion) and Task Completed.
