Job Title: Project Manager – E&I
Reports to: Division Manager
FLSA Status: Exempt
Location: 2730 Mine and Mill Road, Lakeland, Florida 33801

 

Job Summary:

The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing projects from start to finish. They ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. 

 


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Lead and manage project teams.
  • Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and vendors.
  • Monitor project progress and identify potential risks.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards.
  • Resolve project-related issues and problems.
  • Close out projects upon completion.


Education:

  • PMP certification preferred
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering a plus 


Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management.
  • 5+ years of experience in heavy industrial electrical work. 


Knowledge Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Ability to use project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

 

Work Location and Travel:

  • Base location is 2730 Mine and Mill Road, Lakeland, Florida 33801
  • This position requires overnight travel more than 60% of the time. 

 

Work Environment:

  • Combination of corporate office and heavy industrial site locations. 
  • The working environment is often in harsh elements (hot / humid and/or cold temperatures, rain, etc.). Industrial environments often have exposure to hazardous chemicals, moving heavy equipment / machinery, and other safety-sensitive hazards / risks. Must always be alert and able to safely perform the essential duties of the job without risking harm to oneself or others.

Carry, weight, Lift: Must Be able to occasionally lift, move or carry up to 50 pounds.
Exposure to work: Considerable time will be spent in processing environments indoors. Environments can be loud, dusty, hot, or cold.
