Job description

KOMAN Sustainable Solutions LLC is looking for a Project Site Coordinator to support our On-Site project in Laughlin, TX. The Project Site Coordinator provides daily field coordination and quality support for construction projects by maintaining an active presence on the jobsite, managing punch list activities, monitoring work progress, and assisting the Quality Control Manager with inspections, submittals, and documentation. This position serves as a key liaison between project management and subcontractors to ensure project deficiencies are identified, communicated, and resolved in a timely manner.

Essential Functions:

  • Perform recurring inspections of assigned project areas to identify deficiencies and incomplete work.
  • Document and communicate deficiencies, assign corrective actions to subcontractors, and maintain room-specific punch lists.
  • Track deficiencies through completion, reinspect corrective work, and obtain final sign-off.
  • Coordinate regularly with the Superintendent and Project Manager on status updates and subcontractor performance.
  • Maintain an active field presence and monitor daily construction activities.
  • Conduct routine site walks to identify safety concerns, workmanship issues, scheduling conflicts, and material deficiencies.
  • Maintain daily reports, logs, and photographic documentation of site conditions.
  • Attend project meetings and provide updates on field observations and project progress.
  • Assist the Quality Control Manager with submittal reviews and application of project specifications.
  • Inspect materials and installed work for compliance with approved submittals and quality standards.
  • Identify and report non-conforming work and support project inspections, testing, and quality control documentation.
  • Assist in implementing and maintaining the Project Quality Control Plan.

Education/Certifications:

  • Preferred Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Equivalent combination of education and hands-on construction experience may be considered.

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
    Must possess and present valid, unexpired U.S. Passport and/or REAL ID-compliant Driver’s License/State ID
  • Recent graduate in construction, engineering, architecture, or related discipline, or prior experience in commercial or federal construction environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify construction deficiencies and proactively facilitate corrective actions.
  • Working knowledge of construction methods, materials, and quality standards.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with subcontractors, field personnel, and project management teams.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and follow through on assigned responsibilities.
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to prepare clear, detailed, and actionable reports.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; experience with construction management software is preferred.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain access credentials for Laughlin Air Force Base.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

  • Full-time field position on an active and occupied military installation.
  • Continually required to stand, walk, climb stairs, bend, stoop, kneel, and navigate active construction areas.
  • Continually required to communicate verbally and hear in an active construction environment.
  • Frequently exposed to outdoor weather conditions, varying temperatures, dust, noise, vibration, and moving construction equipment.
  • Frequently exposed to active construction site conditions requiring situational awareness and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Field and Site Work:

  • Daily site walks and inspections of project areas.
  • Monitoring and tracking of punch list activities and deficiency corrections.
  • Documentation of field conditions, progress observations, and photographic records.
  • Coordination with subcontractors regarding corrective actions and project expectations.
  • Support of project quality inspections, testing activities, and turnover documentation.
