We are seeking an experienced SAP WM/EWM Functional Consultant to join the Logistics Agile Team and play a key role in leading the planning, design, and execution of an upcoming SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) implementation project.

The selected consultant will act as the functional lead and project coordinator for the initiative while providing deep expertise in SAP Warehouse Management processes and integration with Materials Management and related logistics modules. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, solution architects, development teams, and external implementation partners to ensure successful delivery of warehouse transformation objectives.

The candidate is expected to fully integrate into the existing agile delivery organization and contribute to both project execution and ongoing application support activities.

Expectations: 

  • Lead and coordinate functional activities for an upcoming SAP EWM implementation project, including planning, requirements gathering, solution design, testing, deployment, and HyperCare support.
  • Provide expert business process and SAP system knowledge in the areas of SAP Warehouse Management (WM) and Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), with strong understanding of Materials Management (MM) processes.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, solution architects, development teams, and external implementation partners.
  • Facilitate workshops, requirements gathering sessions, fit-gap analyses, and solution design discussions.
  • Develop and propose scalable, standardized warehouse management solutions aligned with client's business processes and IT strategy.
  • Perform functional design, configuration review, testing coordination, training support, and documentation activities.
  • Support process harmonization and standardization initiatives across warehouse and logistics operations.
  • Work across SAP module boundaries and integrate EWM/WM processes with SAP MM, SD, PP, LE, and FI/CO modules.
  • Provide consulting and solution expertise for warehouse automation, mobility, RF technologies, interface integrations, and related logistics applications where applicable.
  • Drive agile delivery activities include backlog refinement, sprint planning, user story definition, acceptance criteria, testing coordination, and release management.
  • Ensure compliance with client's Change & Release Management, IT Security, Data Privacy, and Quality standards.
  • Work in close alignment with Solution Architects and Global Process Owners.

Required Experience & Qualifications: 

  • Minimum 8 years of SAP logistics experience with strong expertise in Warehouse Management processes.
  • Proven experience participating in or leading at least one SAP EWM implementation project.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP WM and EWM processes, configuration, organizational structures, warehouse master data, and integration points.
  • Deep understanding of SAP Materials Management (MM) and logistics execution processes.
  • Experience integrating warehouse processes with SAP MM, SD, PP, LE, and FI/CO modules.
  • Experience with requirements gathering solution design, testing, cutover planning, training, and deployment activities.
  • Knowledge of warehouse execution technologies, RF devices, barcode technologies, and third-party logistics integrations is desirable.
  • Experience working within Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, facilitation, and project coordination skills.
  • Ability to work independently while driving cross-functional collaboration across business and IT teams.

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • SAP EWM certification or equivalent practical implementation experience.
  • Experience supporting SAP S/4HANA logistics transformations.
  • Knowledge of client's logistics and warehouse business processes.
  • Experience with global process harmonization initiatives.
  • Prior experience working in large multinational manufacturing environments.

  • Resource should be based in or willing to work regularly from the Alpharetta, GA location.
  • Must be fluent in English, both written and verbal.
  • Must be able to effectively engage with stakeholders across North America and global teams.
  • Candidate will function as a core member of the Logistics Agile Team and contribute to strategic warehouse transformation initiatives.
