Job description

GridSource is seeking a Project Coordinator in St. George, UT. The Project Coordinator is a field-focused role responsible for managing end-to-end coordination of Multi-Dwelling Unit (MDU) bulk deployment projects. This role serves as the primary point of contact between internal teams, developers, and builders, ensuring projects are executed efficiently from construction through resident activation and closing.
Pay Rate: $32 per hour plus $64 per day allowance
Key Responsibilities
Project & Relationship Management
• Act as the single point of contact for developers, builders, and internal stakeholders.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with property stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead communication between internal teams and external partners to ensure alignment and timely execution.
Site Coordination & Field Oversight
• Conduct regular site visits to verify infrastructure readiness, including conduit, smurf tube, and other build requirements.
• Monitor construction progress and identify risks, delays, or issues requiring escalation.
• Ensure proper installation of infrastructure components in coordination with developers and internal teams.
Project Execution & Delivery
• Support implementation of bulk contracts, including kickoff ("Heads-In") meetings and ongoing coordination.
• Track project milestones such as first service dates, build readiness, and closing timelines.
• Coordinate service readiness, ensuring all equipment and systems are activated prior to unit closings.
• Confirm all addresses and units are properly loaded into ordering and service systems prior to activation.
Operational Coordination
• Coordinate with internal operations teams to ensure timely order creation and service delivery (3-5 day scheduling windows).
• Arrange technician access, scheduling, and execution timelines.
• Facilitate weekly team meetings and maintain shared tracking tools for properties and contacts.
Reporting & Communication
• Provide ongoing updates on project status, readiness, and risks to internal stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate tracking of build progress, infrastructure readiness, and project milestones.
• Coordinate closing communications and transition updates for internal teams and external partners.
Issue Resolution & Support
• Identify and resolve issues during all phases of the build process.
• Ensure a smooth transition from construction to occupancy, including resident activation support.
• Remain engaged through final occupancy to ensure full project completion.
Qualifications
• Experience in telecommunications, fiber deployment, construction coordination, or MDU project management.
• Strong field coordination and stakeholder management experience.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Comfortable working in a field-based, hands-on environment with frequent site visits.
Preferred Skills
• Experience with bulk MDU deployments or large-scale residential developments.
• Knowledge of fiber infrastructure (conduit, smurf tube, service activation).
• Familiarity with project tracking tools and reporting systems.
Work Environment
• Field-based role with regular site visits across South Utah developments.
