Brief Role Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Migration Project Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for the successful migration of services of large and/or complex networks, ensuring seamless transitions from order submission through billing completion. You will coordinate between internal teams and provide superior communication to our customers throughout the project lifecycle.

The ideal candidate for Migration Project Manager will have a strong technical background in IP networking along with an understanding of VoIP, Wireless, Wi-Fi, Switching and Routing with proven experience working on Service Delivery and Customer Support teams ensuring service excellence is consistently achieved.


Responsibilities:

• Serve as the single point of contact for the customer and agent during the migration process.

• Lead internal and external calls with customers to review current network design, migration process, current term options, and billing expectations.

• Develop Project Plans that are updated daily and shared with the customer weekly via scheduled Project Status calls.

• Proactively track orders in all systems ensuring all tasks are completed on time and accurately so orders flow through the migration process.

• Collaborate with Sales Engineering, Logistics, Translations, IP Engineering, Field Services, and Billing to ensure smooth migrations.

• Escalate delays to the appropriate teams and follow-up to ensure timely resolution

• Provide valuable input for process improvement, working in conjunction with Product Management, Engineering, and IT.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years telecommunications experience with advanced knowledge of telecommunications products and delivery mechanisms

• Experience in operations, service delivery, and support is essential

• Hands-on experience with Hosted Voice including provisioning and troubleshooting

• Hands-on experience with the configuration of Velo, EdgeMarc, Cisco, Adtran, Ubiquiti, Peplink and Cradlepoints is highly preferred

• Strong project and time management skills

• Flexible availability to cover shifts ranging from 6AM ET to 9PM ET with occasional night and weekends

• Ability to think creatively and solve problems effectively

• Excellent Communication Skills, both written and verbal

• Comfortable interacting with all levels of management

• BA/BS Degree a plus

• Project Management Professional (PMP) designation not required but is a plus
