Our client, a well-established manufacturing organization, is seeking an experienced Purchasing & Production Scheduling Manager to join their team. This is a highly visible, plant-based leadership role responsible for overseeing purchasing, production scheduling, material planning, and inventory management while leading a collaborative team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the Purchasing and Production Scheduling teams.
  • Develop and execute material planning strategies to support production requirements.
  • Monitor inventory levels, identify excess or obsolete inventory, and implement corrective actions.
  • Analyze lead times and supplier performance to ensure uninterrupted production flow.
  • Coordinate purchasing activities to optimize cost, quality, and delivery performance.
  • Partner with operations, production, engineering, and supply chain teams to support manufacturing objectives.
  • Drive scheduling accuracy and production efficiency through effective planning processes.
  • Understand and manage the impact of purchasing and inventory decisions on product cost and profitability.
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
