Role description: 

As a Senior Construction Project Manager, you will serve as an owner's representative and will ensure that your projects adhere to the client's requirements and business goals by developing and driving project plans, managing cross-functional teams, and coordinating activities within the established project timelines. You will be responsible for understanding and delivering the full scope of Arcadis contracted services across all project phases: planning, design/preconstruction, procurement, construction, and closeout. In addition, this position includes managing a team of project professionals. You will provide guidance, mentorship, and performance oversight for direct reports, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment. 

Role accountabilities: 

Responsible for day-to-day management of the planning, engineering, construction, and handover aspects of the assigned projects and all associated deliverables. Coordinating design reviews, design requirements, and approvals between owner, design team, and contractors. Coordinating, scheduling, and reporting activities related to stakeholder management, facility operations, and project communications. Additional responsibilities include: 

  • Ensuring that all appropriate technical standards are applied during the project implementation 
  • Managing work to follow state, local, and Federal requirements 
  • Ensuring all deliverables and constructed work are in conformance with the scope and quality standards set forth in the contract documents 
  • Providing timely, accurate progress reports, cash flow and cost of completion forecasts 
  • Maintaining project files, meetings records and correspondence, and project controls information 
  • Coordinating with the internal stakeholders
  • Reviewing all purchases, procurement, changes and payments on the project 
  • Monitoring contractor adherence to the prime contract
  • Monitoring contractor adherence to safety standards 

Required Qualifications: 

  • 10+ years of experience in industrial manufacturing and data center project management
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and PMIS systems 
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, Engineering, or a related field. 

Key Skills and attributes: 

  • Experience managing large construction projects 
  • Possess industry certifications, e.g., PMP or CCM
  • Have strong leadership,  organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills 
  • Have critical thinking skills focused on outcomes and solutions

Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
