Job Summary:
Scalence L.L.C. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Migration Analyst to support enterprise data migration and transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing legacy systems, mapping and validating data, developing migration strategies, and ensuring seamless data conversion into target platforms.
Responsibilities:
• Analyze legacy source systems to understand data structures, business rules, and data relationships.
• Develop comprehensive source-to-target mapping documents for data migration projects.
• Extract, cleanse, transform, and validate data from multiple source systems.
• Write complex SQL queries to analyze, validate, reconcile, and troubleshoot data.
• Support the design and execution of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
• Perform data profiling, data quality assessments, and data cleansing activities.
• Conduct pre-conversion assessments, mock migrations, and dry-run testing.
• Validate migrated data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
• Identify and resolve data discrepancies prior to production deployment.
• Collaborate with business users, project teams, and third-party vendors to define data requirements and migration rules.
• Create data reconciliation reports and migration validation documentation.
• Support go-live activities and post-migration data verification efforts.
• Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, Data Migration Analyst, or Data Conversion Analyst.
• Strong expertise in data migration, data conversion, and data validation projects.
• Advanced SQL skills with experience writing complex queries, joins, stored procedures, and data reconciliation scripts.
• Experience with ETL processes and data transformation methodologies.
