ACADEMIC COACHPosition DescriptionThe Academic Implementation Coach supports the execution of academic programming across MLMPI Prep Academy campuses through on-site coaching, data monitoring, and instructional support. This role works closely with the Assistant Superintendent of Academics and campus Deans to ensure academic systems are implemented with fidelity and that teachers receive the coaching and support necessary to improve student outcomes.
The Academic Implementation Coach will spend the majority of their time on campuses working directly with teachers and academic teams.

Academic Data and Gradebook Monitoring
Monitor gradebook accuracy and completion across all campuses.
Ensure teachers are entering grades regularly and that gradebooks reflect current student progress.
Assist Deans and teachers in analyzing student performance data, identifying students who require additional support, and holding data chats.
Support the use of academic platforms and systems used to track student progress.

Hold students and teachers accountable for adhering to technology usage protocols and procedures- monitor and correct off-task behaviors, and ensure students are not using platforms outside of the prescribed and permitted programs.
Assist the Assistant Superintendent with professional development and onboarding of new academic staff.
Communication and ReportingProvide regular updates to the Assistant Superintendent of Academics regarding campus progress, instructional needs, and areas requiring additional support.
Identify patterns across campuses and recommend solutions to improve academic performance.
Analyze physical environments and determine best organizational furniture placement, student seating charts, technology management, and operational/transitional procedures.
Maintain clear documentation of campus visits, observations, and coaching support provided.
Additional ResponsibilitiesSupport academic initiatives directed by the Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent.
Assist with monitoring student progress toward graduation requirements, including but not limited to white belt, GPS for success, and STEP when necessary.
Perform other duties aligned with the goals and objectives of the academic program.
Maintain regular attendance and travel between campuses as required.
