Nature of Work
Develop, service, and maintain the relationship and business for a client or group of clients related to service and/or special projects.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Manage overall client relationship or multiple client relationships.
  • Responsible for continued development of client relationships.
  • Identify and qualify new sales leads through various methods (cold calling, networking, referrals, etc.)
  • Maintain an organized and up-to-date sales pipeline, tracking progress and reporting to management.
  • Negotiate terms and pricing with clients, prepare estimates, write proposals, and present solution(s) aiming to close deals that are beneficial to both the client and the company.
  • Review and develop solutions for client's needs.
  • Establish capital budgeting for clients.
  • May be required to oversee execution of work.
  • Approve vendor or subcontractor invoices.
  • Review and respond to client requests for proposals.
  • Preliminary review of contracts, purchase orders, & change orders per company policy limits
  • May create and manage scheduled maintenance agreements for clients.
  • Support the dispatch of service technicians and other related trades people for client projects.
  • Track and manage profitability of client base utilizing company accounting system.
  • Coordinate jobsite activities such as deliveries, rigging, equipment, tools, etc.
  • Perform other administrative activities including, but not limited to, drafting and responding to emails, electronic filing, and working with internal and external clients.
  • Maintain a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record which, per Company's vehicle policy, allows operation of a company vehicle.
  • Exercise initiative or, as directed, perform additional duties to meet the needs of the organization.

Experience

  • Other work-related experience such as military, public service, on the job training programs, etc. may meet this requirement as determined by local management.

Physical Demands and Working Environment
  • Requires occasional travel to job sites with periods of overnight travel
  • Normal office environment
  • Periods of time walking on construction sites
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
  • Frequent activity: sitting, viewing, and typing on computer screen
  • Occasional activity: standing, walking, bending, reaching above shoulder, climbing and balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling
  • At times will be required to use a ladder and work at tall heights (i.e. roof top, access ladders, scissor-lift, scaffolding)
  • Safety-sensitive position that requires extreme focus and attention to safety hazards and safety
    protocols.
