How you'll make an impact:
Producer, Talk Radio will be responsible for all aspects involved in producing a live daily show. This includes guest booking, research, promotion/social media, studio/technical operations, production. A strong sense of news awareness is important in this position.
What you'll do:
  • Book interviews, conduct pre-interviews with guests and prepare pre materials for host.
  • Manage the studio/technical operations of the show.
  • Manage promotion and production of the show.
  • Follow format and provide hosts with feedback.
  • Assist the PD of the channel to promote the show and channel.

What you'll need:
  • Bachelor's degree or 2 years of equivalent experience.
  • Previous production experience within radio and/or live studio environment preferred.
  • Good public speaking and presentation skills.
  • Interpersonal skills and ability to interact and work with staff at all levels.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to pay attention to details and be organized.
  • Ability to project professionalism over the phone and in person.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to "internal client" and customer service principles.
  • Willingness to take initiative and to follow through on projects.
  • Creative writing ability.
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task, and work
  • under shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have legal right to work in the U.S.

We expect the annual salary for this this position to be between $57,600 and $75,150 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
