Clayton Valley Dance Academy is looking for new teachers for our 2026-2027 season and beyond. The ideal candidate will be able to teach Monday and Wednesday afternoons from 3:15pm to 8:30pm (Monday only, Wednesday classes and at 6:20pm). Styles include Ballet, Jazz, Tap (beginning), tumbling and contemporary. Classes begin August 17 so we are looking for a few new faces to join our amazing team! Candidate MUST have experience with pre-dance and younger students
Additional classes, choreography and performance opportunities are available.

Clayton Valley Dance Academy in Concord, CA is looking for a passionate and talented Dance Teacher to inspire students of all ages and skill levels. If you love sharing your love of dance and making a lasting impact on young performers, we want to hear from you!
We are currently looking to hire a teacher for our 2026-2027 season. Classes include all styles for all ages and levels. We are looking to hire 1-2 new teachers to join our team and become a part of our dance family long term.
Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver engaging dance instruction across styles such as ballet, jazz, hip-hop, or contemporary
  • Teach students of varying ages and skill levels in a positive, structured class environment
  • Develop age-appropriate choreography for recitals, showcases, and performances
  • Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to support growth
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and encouraging classroom atmosphere
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and studio staff
  • Assist with studio events, recitals, and special performances as needed

Requirements:
  • Prior experience teaching dance in a studio, school, or recreational setting
  • Proficiency in one or more dance styles (ballet, jazz, tap, hip-hop, lyrical, etc.)
  • Strong classroom management and student engagement skills
  • Ability to work with children and teens of all experience levels
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor
  • CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain
  • Passion for dance education and student development
