Job description

United Pre-Sort and Sister company of Resource One is currently seeking Scheme Builders.
1st Shift: Days may vary Friday Hours: 7am-5:45pm
2nd Shift: Days may vary Hours: 6:00pm-4:45 am
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
  • Responsible for separating mail by zip code and grouping together by sort scheme.
  • Responsible for palletizing separated trays of mail by sort scheme.
  • Responsible for efficient handling of and adequate supply of material to be run on sorting machines.
  • Responsible for recording and reporting on production data.
  • Responsible for efficient handling of finished postal pallets.
  • Once core duties are complete assists coworkers in other areas to assure the success of the entire operation.

Knowledge and Abilities
  • Basic communication and computer skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem solving abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure of time constraints.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs on a regular basis and occasionally more than 50lbs.
  • Ability to work in a standing position for long periods throughout each shift. Along with frequent bending, twisting and pulling.
  • Flexible with scheduled work hours.
