Job description

Litigation Legal Assistant
Location: Tacoma, WA Hybrid (3 days in-office)
Compensation: $70,000 - $85,000 annually ($38.46 - $43.96/hour)
Schedule: 35-hour work week
LHH is working with a highly regarded, global law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant to support a busy trial and litigation team.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive legal and administrative support to litigation attorneys
  • Draft, format, proofread, and revise complex legal documents, including pleadings, correspondence, and discovery materials
  • Prepare and manage Tables of Contents and Tables of Authorities
  • File documents in state and federal courts, including e-filing
  • Maintain attorney calendars, including court deadlines, hearings, depositions, and meetings
  • Assist with trial preparation and coordination
  • Support case management, including organizing files and maintaining records
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and process expense reports
  • Handle administrative tasks such as billing, client correspondence, and reporting
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience as a litigation legal assistant or legal secretary
  • Strong knowledge of state and federal court procedures and e-filing systems
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with document management systems such as iManage or FileSite
  • Exceptional proofreading, organizational, and multitasking skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage competing priorities
