The Role:

Our site in Hillsboro, OR is seeking an Operations Associate to join the production team. This role will serve as a front-line Operations Associate and aid in the production processing work across the factory's 24/7 compressed shifts. In this role, you will set up production equipment, prepare raw materials for production, and perform verifications of materials to complete the production batches successfully. Skills needed for a successful Operations Associate are critical thinking and problem solving, attention to detail and quality focused mindset.

Below are the following shift opportunities:

  • Sunday - Tuesday with every other Wednesday alternating 5:30 AM - 6PM
  • Sunday - Tuesday with every other Saturday alternating 5:30 PM - 6AM
  • Thursday - Friday with every other Wednesday alternating 5:30 AM - 6PM
  • Wednesday - Friday with every other Saturday alternating 5:30 PM - 6AM

What You'll Do:

  • Set up machinery by positioning parts, loading materials, and entering specifications in accordance with engineering parameters.
  • Ensure adherence to department policies, procedures, regulatory compliance, and environmental health and safety requirements.
  • Monitor one or more stages of the manufacturing process while equipment is running.
  • Assess the quality of products and identify any nonconformities.
  • Regularly inspect, clean, and perform routine maintenance on machinery to keep it ingood workingorder.
  • Complete productivityreports,detailing the number of parts or products made during each shift.
  • Provide input into process procedures as required.
  • Work with internal resources to resolve problems.

What we are looking for:

Required:

  • Have proficiency in windows-based computer applications.
  • Ability to read andunderstand work instructions.
  • Ability to read specs and follow work instructions.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • Ability to work a 12-hour shift, on your feet, andlift upto 40 pounds.

PreferredExperience

  • 1-3 years of manufacturing or relevant work experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Forward thinking (drives for continuous improvement).
  • Ability to align to organizational values.

Outstanding Candidates Will Have

  • Demonstrated knowledge of regulatory and compliance guidelines and practices.
  • Demonstrated strong problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of safety practices.
