IMI programs create brand value and opportunities with consumers while driving food and beverage sales and profits for our Hospitality Operator clients.
Job Description:
We have an opening for a dynamic, results-driven, and adaptable Taskforce Food amp; Beverage Manager to support food and beverage operations across multiple properties and locations. A significant portion of time will be spent on-site in hotels, restaurants, and hospitality environments that may be undergoing transitions, new openings, operational restructuring, or performance improvement initiatives. In this role, the Taskforce Food amp; Beverage Manager will provide hands-on leadership, operational oversight, and strategic support to stabilize and elevate service, team performance, and overall guest experience. The Taskforce Food amp; Beverage Manager will work closely with property leadership teams and corporate stakeholders to implement operational standards, drive consistency, and create sustainable improvements across food and beverage operations. This person will participate in developing and executing operational strategies and tactical initiatives to improve efficiency, profitability, service quality, and team engagement within client locations.

Operational Excellence
  • Provide on-property leadership for food and beverage outlets, including restaurants, bars, and banquets
  • Ensure compliance with the clients' brand standards, food safety, and service expectations
  • Maintain a visible presence in operations to support colleagues and enhance the guest experience
Business Performance
  • Analyze operational and financial performance, identifying opportunities to improve revenue and profitability
  • Support the execution of cost control measures, including labor and food cost management
  • Drive initiatives that improve guest satisfaction and overall performance metrics
Colleague Engagement amp; Development
  • Support, coach, and develop food and beverage colleagues
  • Reinforce the clients' culture of care through positive engagement and recognition
  • Assist with onboarding and training as needed
Transitions amp; Openings
  • Support hotels during leadership transitions, new openings, renovations, or operational disruptions
  • Support the implementation of the clients' initiatives, programs, and brand standards effectively
  • Partner with hotel leadership to ensure a smooth transition to permanent teams
Guest Experience
  • Champion the clients' commitment to delivering distinctive and memorable dining experiences
  • Respond to guest feedback with urgency and care
  • Ensuring service delivery reflects clients' purpose and values
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or related field preferred
  • Minimum 3+ years of progressive food and beverage leadership experience
  • Hotel or multi-unit experience preferred
  • Demonstrate strong positive leadership characteristics, which inspire employees to exceed standards and expectations
  • Strong understanding of beverage performance standards across various hospitality settings.
  • Prior supervisory experience is a plus
  • Understanding cost control, inventory management, and menu engineering.
  • Skilled in budget management and tracking expenditures with regular reporting.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Teams
  • Candidates should be extremely detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle a fast-paced environment
  • Reliability and ability to work a flexible schedule of early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays consistently to be present during the busiest operational timeframes
  • Strong time management amp; multi-tasking skills with the ability to work well under pressure
  • Understanding and demonstration of floor coverage while also completing daily paperwork and projects
  • Proactive problem-solver who takes initiative and contributes to solutions.
  • High-energy interpersonal skills and a polished, professional demeanor.
  • Service-oriented with a client-first mindset and a hospitable approach.
  • Experience in restaurant finance, pricing, and cost control
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently

Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 annual base salary plus performance bonus potential
