Operations Manager – Startup Leadership Opportunity

PhotoDrone.com® – Fort Lauderdale, Florida

Help Build the Future of Professional Drone Photography

PhotoDrone.com® is an innovative technology startup with an ambitious mission: to build one of America's most recognized and trusted brands for professional drone photography.

We are creating an AI-powered marketplace that makes professional drone photography easy to order, schedule, manage, and deliver through a nationwide network of qualified FAA Part 107-certified independent drone photographers.

The company will launch in South Florida before expanding throughout Florida and ultimately across the United States. We are seeking an exceptional Operations Manager who wants to help build something meaningful from the ground up.

About the Opportunity

This is not a typical operations position.

You will work directly with the founder to help build the systems, processes, and team that will support a rapidly growing technology-enabled business. As the company grows, this position has the potential to become a senior executive leadership role.

If you enjoy creating order from chaos, solving problems, improving systems, and helping build a nationally recognized company, we'd like to meet you.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in launching and managing daily operations.
  • Help develop and document standard operating procedures.
  • Coordinate customer service and scheduling operations.
  • Recruit, onboard, and support independent drone photographers.
  • Work with marketing, technology, and software development teams.
  • Help implement AI and automation tools that improve efficiency.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and operational metrics.
  • Recommend process improvements and scalable business systems.
  • Assist in hiring and managing future staff as the company grows.
  • Help maintain the high standards and reputation of the PhotoDrone.com® brand.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of operations, project management, business management, or startup experience.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Strong leadership ability with a positive, solution-oriented attitude.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
  • Experience with CRM systems, project management software, automation tools, or SaaS platforms is a plus.
  • Experience managing people, vendors, or contractors.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required for exceptional candidates.

Compensation

  • Competitive salary based on experience.
  • Performance bonuses.
  • Opportunity for long-term advancement as the company expands nationally.
  • Potential future equity or incentive participation for an outstanding long-term leader.

About PhotoDrone.com®

We are building a company designed to scale through disciplined execution, exceptional customer service, innovative technology, and operational excellence.
