Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Commercial Insurance Account Manager to join our team. This role is ideal for a professional with at least 5 years of experience managing complex commercial accounts, specifically within the trucking and oil & gas sectors. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing and managing a diverse portfolio of accounts, ensuring superior client service, and collaborating with producers and underwriters to deliver tailored insurance solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and service commercial insurance accounts with a focus on clients in the trucking and oil & gas industries.
  • Provide expert guidance on insurance coverages, risk management strategies, policy changes, claims handling, and billing inquiries.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, producers, and carriers to ensure effective account servicing.
  • Analyze client exposures, recommend appropriate coverage options, and assist with policy placements and renewals.
  • Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to provide proactive advice to clients.
  • Assist clients with claims processes, working closely with carriers and adjusters to ensure timely and fair resolutions.
  • Utilize agency management systems (such as AMS360 and ImageRight) to maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Support producers in identifying cross-selling opportunities and enhancing client retention.
  • Coordinate with underwriting teams to negotiate policy terms, pricing, and coverage enhancements.

Qualifications & Skills:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial insurance account management (Required).
  • Active Property & Casualty License (Required).
  • Proficiency in insurance agency management systems, including AMS360 and ImageRight (Preferred).
  • Strong understanding of industry-specific risks and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills with a client-centric approach.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage a high volume of work efficiently.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
