Job Description

Title : Document Management Business Analyst

Location : Minneapolis, MN

Duration : 6 months+

A direct Minneapolis, MN client is seeking a Document Management Business Analyst.

This position will start ASAP and is anticipated to go through 6/30/2015. 

Position Overview:

The client seeks a Document Management Business Analyst for its Collaboration and Web Content Service team. This position will work with a team of people who are responsible for supporting and growing our enterprise document management environment (Perceptive Software Image Now Content/Document Management Application). The successful candidate will have strong business analysis and verbal and written communication skills as well as experience with Perceptive Software Image Now Content/Document Management Application.


Job Duties:

Analyze and evaluate the needs of our business units and help align technology solutions with short and long-term business strategies.

Design document management solutions (e.g. workflows) to meet business units' needs and best practices.

Test designed solutions before they are released; coordinate testing with business units.

Configure and troubleshoot our enterprise document management environment.

Provide tier 3 technical support in partnership with end user support professionals.

Evaluate and follow through on issues and problems until resolved or escalated.

Document and evaluate issue patterns to plan and recommend process improvements.

Provide training and technical guidance to end users.



Qualifications

-

Required Skills:

A bachelor's degree in a related field and 2 or more years of experience working in the areas of business or systems analysis; 4 years of experience working in business or systems analysis with a non-related bachelor's degree.

1 or more years of experience with Perceptive Software Image Now Content/Document Management Application.

Experience with testing cross-browser, cross-platform, and/or cross-device compatibility for inconsistencies.


Preferred Skills:

Experience with PeopleSoft.

Experience managing small projects.

Familiarity/experience with Windows 2008 Server, code deployment, troubleshooting, and task scheduling.

Experience working in a university environment.
