Patient Care
Foster a welcoming, respectful, and caring environment for patients and their loved ones.
Provide care to patients with intellectual and developmental disabilities, as well as older adults residing in long-term care facilities with sensitivity, professionalism, and clinical judgment.
Manage and treat medically and behaviorally complex patients with sensitivity, professionalism, and clinical judgment.
Tailor treatment approaches to each patient's health, circumstances, and barriers to care - meeting them "where they are" with flexible and empathetic care.
Skilled in behavioral management techniques (e.g., desensitization, positive reinforcement, or modified communication aids).
Teamwork and Communication
Provide clear post-operative and oral health instructions to caregivers and family members.
Communicate clinical findings and concerns clearly with the dentist to support coordinated treatment planning.
Work effectively as a team player alongside multiple dentists and dental assistants.
Professional Standards
Accurately complete and maintain detailed treatment notes and clinical documentation.
Perform all responsibilities of a licensed dental hygienist in alignment with accepted standards of care and regulatory requirements.
Follow established infection control protocols at all times.
Mobility & Logistics
Drive the mobile dental truck to and from assigned facilities (training provided)

Salary Range

Full-time $40 - $45 per hour
