Summary:

igus is seeking an experienced and motivated Stage and Theater Industry Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts to support and grow igus’s market share in the stage/theater industries for the United States. The candidate will be responsible for leveraging the success of the existing product lines to drive future growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve sales targets and increase market sharenationally.
  • Identifyand develop relationships with key customers andmaintainregular contact toidentifysales opportunities.
  • Managing key accounts andparticipatein marketing meetings to increaseigus’sexposure in thestage and theaterindustry.
  • Work with theigusproduct development team to provide feedback on customer needs and product trends in the market.
  • Work closely withthe outside sales teamsto ensure theymeettheir targets andmaximizetheir potential for this industry.
  • Understand the landscape and sub-industries ofstageand theatertoidentifyopportunities for growth.
  • Monitor market trends,competitorsand customer feedback todirect or influencesales strategies and ensureigusremainscompetitive in the market.
  • Attend industry events and conferences to develop new business andmaintainrelationships with existing customers.
  • Conduct global pricing discussions to ensure that theproductslines are pricedcompetitively.
  • Performadditionaltasksas needed to support the overall functioning of the team, including otherdutiesassigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree inengineering,businessor related field.
  • Minimum of3years of sales experience in the industrial products industry, preferably withstage and theatercustomers or experiencewith engineering.
  • Minimum of2 years of experience managing a team of sales representatives.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel within theUnited States minimum travel of60%-80%with occasional international travel.
