Title: Special Education Teacher - Resource Program
Start Date: August 3, 2026
Location: Carroll High School
Details: Our resource program supports students with mild disabilities within the school building. Students access classes with their general education peers throughout the day, as appropriate and with support. Students may also receive direct instruction from the special education resource teacher in the resource room. Key instructional areas focus on Math, ELA, organization, study, and self-advocacy skills. Resource teachers work with a team of instructional assistants, general education teachers, other special education staff, building staff, and parents to design an engaging, appropriately challenging, and inclusive learning environment within the building.
Licensing Required: Indiana Teaching License - Mild Intervention (or the equivalent) at the specified grade levels. Transition to Teaching or ASSET candidates will be considered with demonstrated steps toward an IDOE approved program.
