Job description

Overview VTG is seeking a full-time Cleared Telecommunications Infrastructure Technician to support Navy/NMCI network infrastructure work across the National Capital Region, with possible travel up to 20%. This is a hands-on field role focused primarily on copper and fiber telecommunications infrastructure. The technician will install, terminate, label, dress, test, and troubleshoot copper and fiber cabling in IDF/MDF and other communications environments. Work may also include patch panels, wire managers, cable conveyance, cabinet installation, UPS/PDU installation, and authorized basic power work from existing panels to cabinets, including breaker and receptacle installation. When extending an offer, VTG also considers work experience, education, skill level, market considerations and may possibly include contractual requirements which may cause an offer to fall outside of this range.
