Responsibilities

The client is seeking a skilled and motivated Network Security Administrator II to join our Identity and Access Management (IAM) team. This role is responsible for administering and supporting the SailPoint IdentityIQ and Ping Identity platforms to ensure secure, efficient, and compliant access to TxDOT systems and resources.The workers responsibilities and skills must include:

  • Administer and maintain SailPoint IdentityIQ and Ping Identity platforms, including configuration, integration, and lifecycle management.
  • Implement and manage identity governance policies, access certifications, and role-based access controls.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to onboard applications and services into the IAM ecosystem.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot IAM-related issues, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Support audits and compliance initiatives by providing access reports and documentation.
  • Assist in the development and enforcement of IAM standards, procedures, and best practices.
  • Participate in incident response and remediation efforts related to identity and access.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members and stakeholders.
  • Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be a creative thinker to solve issues.

Experience in identity and access management

Experience with directory services (e.g., Active Directory, LDAP), SSO, MFA, and federation protocols (SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect).

Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for automation and customization.

Experience working in enterprise environments with complex IAM requirements.

Strong understanding of IAM concepts, including provisioning, de-provisioning, access.

Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving IAM platform issues.

Ability to interpret and apply security policies and standards.

Skilled in collaborating with the technical and functional teams to develop documents need in support of the solution.

Experience in implementing Enterprise Systems Integration.
