About Ideal Partners Fire & Security

Ideal Partners Fire & Security is a leading provider of commercial fire alarm, life safety, and security solutions throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. We specialize in the installation, inspection, service, troubleshooting, and monitoring of commercial fire alarm systems. Our team is committed to delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring our customers remain safe and compliant.

We are looking for an experienced Fire Alarm Service Dispatcher to coordinate the daily schedules of our Fire Alarm Service Technicians. The ideal candidate will have prior fire alarm service dispatching experience or previous fire alarm industry experience combined with office or administrative experience. This individual must understand the urgency of service calls, communicate effectively with customers and technicians, and keep operations running efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Dispatch Fire Alarm Service Technicians for service calls, inspections, troubleshooting, emergency repairs, and warranty work.
  • Schedule preventative maintenance, annual inspections, repairs, and customer service appointments.
  • Coordinate technician schedules based on priority, location, skill set, and customer needs.
  • Monitor technician progress throughout the day and adjust schedules as necessary.
  • Communicate with customers regarding appointment times, technician arrival, and service updates.
  • Create, update, and close service work orders accurately.
  • Coordinate parts, equipment, and follow-up appointments for ongoing service work.
  • Work closely with the Service Manager, technicians, and installation teams to ensure seamless operations.
  • Maintain accurate customer records, service history, and scheduling information.
  • Answer incoming service calls and respond professionally to customer requests.
  • Assist with billing documentation, service reports, and general administrative duties as needed.

Qualifications

  • Previous Fire Alarm Service Dispatcher experience is highly preferred, OR
  • Previous experience working in the commercial fire alarm industry with office, scheduling, or administrative experience.
  • Strong understanding of commercial fire alarm systems, service processes, and industry terminology.
  • Ability to prioritize emergency service calls while managing scheduled work.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Experience using dispatch or service management software such as ServiceTrade, Service Fusion, or similar is preferred.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
