CGI Federal has an exciting opportunity for Program Support Specialists within our Intel sector advancing the national security mission through cutting edge technology. The Program Support Specialist assists an organization's program managers and directors with foundational administrative, clerical, and operational tasks. This role ensures daily activities run smoothly by managing schedules, entering data, and handling routine inquiries.

This position is located in our Arlington office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities (Entry Level)
• Administrative Support: Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and direct inquiries to the appropriate staff members.
• Scheduling & Logistics: Coordinate meetings, book meeting rooms, and manage calendars for program directors.
• Data Entry: Accurately input client, vendor, or program data into organizational databases.
• Document Management: Type, format, and organize documents, reports, and presentation materials.
• File Organization: Maintain physical and digital filing systems so records are easily accessible.
Key Responsibilities (Junior Level)
• Administrative Operations: Manage calendars, coordinate meetings, and prepare agendas. Maintain accurate program records, case logs, and documentation.
• Data Management & Reporting: Enter and track program metrics, performance data, and expenditures in databases. Identify discrepancies and draft basic reports for management.
• Stakeholder Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for staff, clients, or the public. Respond to routine inquiries and escalate complex issues to higher-level staff.
• Logistics & Compliance: Support the planning of program-related events and assist with onboarding. Ensure activities comply with organizational policies and regulatory guidelines.
Key Responsibilities (Mid-Level)
• Program Analysis & Evaluation: Evaluate complex situations, assess standard operating procedures (SOPs), and recommend actionable management strategies.
• Issue Resolution: Act as a senior point of escalation for complex programmatic or technical inquiries. Interrogate databases for solutions and route critical issues if necessary.
• Data Management & Reporting: Generate statistical reports, formulate spreadsheets, and track performance metrics. Draft weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports for administrative review.
• Compliance & Contract Administration: Monitor program actions to ensure adherence to federal, state, and commercial guidelines. Maintain accurate documentation in contract repositories.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Serve as a primary liaison between internal departments, clients, and external stakeholders. Explain eligibility criteria and resolve client complaints.
Key Responsibilities (Senior Level)
Program Strategy & Analysis
• Lead organizational policy, procedure, and program analysis planning and development efforts.
• Review proposed draft regulatory changes for fiscal or programmatic impact and recommend policy revisions.
• Identify, research, and analyze complex program issues and present data-driven results to senior management.
Operational & Contract Management
• Project manage interagency initiatives, including grant compliance, and oversee high-risk contract quality control.
• Operate in broad, ambiguous policy areas with little direct guidance.
Stakeholder Engagement & Technical Assistance
• Act as a technical authority for complex projects, liaising with officials and conducting high-level investigations.
Data & Reporting
• Develop and automate advanced data models to evaluate program effectiveness

• Required Skills: Must possess elite-level data analysis, project management, and problem-solving skills. The ability to exercise independent judgment and delegated decision-making without constant supervisory oversight is critical.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $89,600.00 - $204,000.00.
