DESCRIPTION
Start Date = Immediately. All offers of employment are tentative. Employment is contingent upon a driver license record search and potentially a drug-free workplace pre-employment screening.
DRIVE the coolest food trucks in IDAHO! Kona Ice is a mobile food truck organization specializing as a frozen dessert caterer serving tropical shaved ice. We refer to our food truck as the KEV or Kona Entertainment Vehicle. We are part of the worlds largest food truck franchise system. We work many venues including community events (street fairs, festivals, fairs, farmers markets, etc.), birthday parties, wedding receptions, daycares, schools, church groups, corporate entities, and sporting events.
Businesses contract with Kona Ice for a multitude of purposes including employee parties, family picnics and customer appreciation events. Schools use Kona Ice for fundraising purposes plus motivation and incentive of students.
We are seeking outgoing and friendly individual(s) to fill several positions of Server/Driver.
Primary duties and responsibilities:
The KEV Server will be responsible for driving the Kona Entertainment Vehicle (approximately 21 feet in length, 10 feet tall) as well as all aspects of operating the KEV and serving at our events. We work in all communities of the Magic Valley, Eastern Idaho, the Wood River Valley, Mountain Home and into Eastern Boise.
*Standard Drivers license and clean driving record are mandatory.
*For insurance purposes age 18 minimum.
*This is a "people person" position. Having the ability to properly interact with all people is essential in finding success in this position, as is being able to follow instruction and at the same time being proactive in your duties.
This is a seasonal position typically going through September. Work hours and days vary, depending on Kona Ice event bookings and availability of hired individual(s). Friday and Saturday are typically the busiest days of the week. Afternoon and evening hours are also busy times. We seek individuals with flexibility in their schedules.
