Job description

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Works closely with the Operations Manager and Operation Team Leaders to assist with ice rink preparation and maintenance. Including some event set-up and services.
  • Assist with making ice for hockey and other ice related events including: dasher wall and dasher glass installation, building ice and painting/marking hockey lines and resurfacing ice as needed.
  • Responsible for the cleaning, upkeep and minor maintenance of the facility and related support areas. Reports all major maintenance items and safety concerns to management.
  • Assist with the cleaning, minor maintenance and proper storage of all ice event related equipment, including Ice Paint machine, Ice Resurfacing machine, hockey nets, hockey logos and other motorized equipment.
  • Operates motorized equipment in the performance of assigned duties ie: ice resurfaces machine, forklifts and Bobcat.
  • Compiles information and generates time reports for event wrap up information and work studies, tracts productivity, makes recommendations to management for increased productivity.
  • Responsible for delivering the highest level of service to all clients and events. Assists in resolving client's questions and concerns.
