Your role:

The Gelato Chef works as part of a team to ensure all gelato meets Venchi standards and is consistently delicious. The Gelato Chef is responsible for producing and maintaining the standard of gelato in the shop. You are an integral part of the shop team. We are seeking a Gelato Chef who is motivated to work in a fast-paced, busy environment; ideally someone who is comfortable working in a kitchen and being around food. This job requires a lot of attention to detail...

In Summary….

  • Ensure all gelato is prepared, displayed, and sold according to Venchi standards

  • You must ensure that the maintenance of the gelato equipment is to the required Health and Safety standards.

  • Work hand in hand with the Store Manager on ingredient ordering, stock control and rotation.

  • Follow up on orders and stock, adjusting orders if required before the deadlines.

  • Report any issues to the Store and Area Manager.

  • Be aware of gelato sales within your shop.

  • Test, clean, and order the required parts when needed.

  • Ownership and compliance of the Health and Safety standards

  • Ensure all deliveries are checked correctly, and all discrepancies are being notified and reported.

  • Follow the gelato production setting standards and guidelines

  • Conduct regular checks on team knowledge, understanding, and overall practices.
