Job Title: Product and Innovation Engineering Manager
Location: St Albans , Vermont

THE ROLE:

Manage the end-to-end delivery of innovation and technology projects for various IC brands. Project work will be required in St Albans & Waterbury Vermont. The candidate may be dedicated to deliver a single project of significant size or a portfolio of smaller projects. Responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day management of projects & innovation including stakeholder engagement, contractor management, project safety, budget management. Reports to the NAIC Transformation and Engineering Director and dotted line to the factory directors.


WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
On Time In Full (OTIF) end to end delivery of assigned capital projects adhering to Magnum IC standards and ensure safety as our number one priority. You are responsible for design, execution, commissioning and ramp-up of projects covering Innovation and Technology improvements, but will also be required to run Capacity, Quality, Safety, Infrastructure, and Cost Savings (VIP) on an as needed basis. You will lead engineering and Construction Management teams drawing resources from the local, regional and global organization and 3rd Party Teams. You will ensure that your Capital program meets the projected financial spend in each quarter, projects are capitalized on time, projects do not go over budget.
As site EEM pillar lead, making sure all projects follow UMS EEM methodology for End to End execution of projects & innovation.
WE'RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO:
8+ years' experience in Project Engineering with FMCG experience strongly preferred.
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a people or project management role.
Professional engineering skills
Project Delivery experience
Experience managing project budgets.

Pay: The pay range for this position is $103,000 to$154,400.The Magnum Ice Cream Company (TMICC)takes into consideration a wide range of factors that areutilizedin making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.

Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.

Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible.

You're a born leader: Leads technology, capital, innovation, capacity, and value improvement projects in the Ice Cream category. Responsible for providing estimates, options assessment, and technical support for these projects. Carries out tasks related to project assessment, technical support and implementation with minimum supervision. Ensures compliance with Unilever Hygiene, equipment and safety standards, specifications, and best practices. This shall include formulation/process/equipment evaluations, industrial trials, preliminary engineering, project cost controls, timeline, establishment of commissioning plan, plant/equipment commissioning, production startup.
You're a change maker: Our success is dependent on change, and the Product & Innovation Engineering Manager role is a critical contributor to driving improvements against all business metrics (safety, quality, finance, innovation, etc).
You're a dot connector: Liaison with all key stakeholders (departments) to ensure full alignment with project scopes, timelines, impact and key project milestones. This role has significant interaction with R+D, Marketing and the impacted facility teams.
You love to win, and have fun doing it: Have the ability to balance a variety of priorities while maintaining healthy relationships across the engineering team, key stakeholders and customers.
