Non-Union ICC Building Inspector – Greater Bay Area, CA
Twining Consulting, Inc., an innovative engineering, testing, and inspection company, is seeking an experienced ICC Building Inspector to support projects throughout the Greater Bay Area. This position is based out of our Concord office. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, proactive, and able to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform building inspections in accordance with the California Building Code (CBC), approved construction documents, and jurisdictional requirements.
  • Prepare clear, accurate, and timely inspection reports.
  • Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and clients regarding inspection findings.
  • Maintain compliance with company procedures and applicable codes and standards.
Qualifications (one or more required or preferred):
  • ICC Commercial Building Inspector.
  • ICC Reinforced Concrete Inspector.
  • ICC Structural Masonry Inspector.
  • ICC Structural Steel amp; Bolting Inspector.
  • ICC Soils Inspector (preferred).
  • ICC Spray-Applied Fireproofing Inspector (preferred).
  • ICC Pre-Stress / Post-Tension Inspector (preferred).
  • ACI Field Technician Grade I (preferred).
  • ACI Post-Installed Anchors (preferred).
  • AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) (preferred).
