Non-Union ICC Building Inspector (B2)

Twining Consulting, Inc., an innovative engineering, testing, and inspection company, is seeking an experienced (B2) Non-Union ICC Building Inspector to support projects throughout the Greater Bay Area. This position is based out of our Concord office. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, proactive, and able to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform building inspections in accordance with the California Building Code (CBC), approved construction documents, and jurisdictional requirements.
  • Prepare clear, accurate, and timely inspection reports.
  • Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and clients regarding inspection findings.
  • Maintain compliance with company procedures and applicable codes and standards.
Qualifications (one or more required or preferred):
  • ICC (B2) Commercial Building Inspector/CBC License.
  • ICC Reinforced Concrete Inspector.
  • ICC Structural Steel amp; Bolting Inspector.
  • ICC Pre-Stress / Post-Tension Inspector.
  • ICC Soils Inspector (preferred).
  • ICC Structural Masonry Inspector (preferred).
  • ICC Spray-Applied Fireproofing Inspector (preferred).
  • ACI Field Technician Grade I (preferred).
  • ACI Post-Installed Anchors (preferred).
  • AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) (preferred).
