Radiology Technologist Responsibilities:

  • • Performs diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures. • May perform minor invasive procedures and support operating room and emergency department diagnostic imaging services. • Responsible for all duties related to imaging patient care, RIS data management, file room, general clerical, physician assistance, patient transportation. • Must have customer service and interpersonal skills. • Demonstrates time management, critical thinking, written, and verbal skills. • Possesses computer skills appropriate to the position.• Preferred experience with vascular cases in the OR Requirements: • BLS (Basic Life Support)• AART (Radiologic Technologists) - Registry Eligible; OR – ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) - within 6 months• Radiology – State of Florida • Technical Diploma (Radiology) OR Associates Degree – Radiology BayCare Health System is a leading not for profit organization in the Tampa Bay area that has been recognized as a top place to work.
