The University of Mount Olive invites applications for a 9-month, full-time, Finance Faculty position. Finance is one of several areas that compose the business core in TSB. Finance courses are taught in traditional (seated) and online (graduate and undergraduate) formats.

Responsibilities include:

Preference will be given to applicants who have qualifications that enable them to teach in areas of finance and experience, and/or certifications that allow application of data analytics and problem-solving skills in those areas. The ideal candidate will be interested in applying what he/she teach as well as research. Responsibilities include teaching a combination of undergraduate and graduate MBA courses in finance and related subject areas, five courses in fall and spring semesters, respectively. Faculty are required to be contributing members of the department, school, and university.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master of Finance or other Master's degree with 18 hours in finance
  • Degree(s) must be from regionally accredited institutions

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. or DBA in finance or related field.
  • Industry/professional experience strongly preferred.
