GeoLogics is searching for a Manufacturing Engineer/Planner with strong professional experience
PLEASE NOTE: This is NOT a Manufacturing Planner in the sense of supply chain, resource planning or scheduling purposes. We're looking for someone adept in creating comprehensive work instructions related to one or more of the following: machine parts, composite details, composite assemblies, airframe structures, aircraft systems, aircraft check-outs, wiring and electrical systems, plumbing, aircraft maintenance, MRB or coatings.
If you've got some (or all!) of those skills and would enjoy a 4/10 workweek, with 3 days off every week, apply today! For best response, make sure your resume reflects or makes direct reference to:
  • US Citizenship status. Only US Citizens are eligible for consideration
  • Bachelor degree and 5 years relevant experience or Masters and 3 years
  • Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and other applicable references.
  • Instructional writing proficiency.
  • Detailed knowledge of fabrication, tooling, manufacturing and inspection methods or processes pertaining to aircraft parts, assemblies, systems, or vehicles.
  • Working knowledge of utilizing computer applications such as SAP, MS Office, CAPP/SFM and model-based engineering systems such as Solumina/iBASEt, Teamcenter, 3DX : OR like programs/software's.
  • Understanding of basic structure: Engineering Bill Of Materials (EBOM), Manufacturing Bill Of Materials (MBOM), and Order Bill Of Materials (OBOM)
  • Familiarity with computer-aided design (CAD) and computer-aided engineering (CAE) tools, such as SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, or CATIA.
  • Ability to pass background checks required to obtain a Department of Defense Secret clearance. Active Secret a plus.
