Our client, a leading organization in the technology and data-driven industry, is seeking a Chief Data Architect to join their team. As a Chief Data Architect, you will be part of the Data & Analytics Department supporting strategic initiatives across the enterprise. The ideal candidate will demonstrate visionary thinking, strong leadership skills, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.

Pay Range: $150,000 - $214,000

What's the Job?

  • Define and govern the enterprise-wide data architecture strategy to support business growth, digital transformation, analytics, AI, and regulatory compliance.
  • Partner with executive leadership to translate strategic priorities into scalable data architecture capabilities.
  • Oversee the design, evolution, and modernization of cloud, on-premises, and hybrid data platforms.
  • Establish standards for data governance, quality, lineage, privacy, and security to ensure compliance and trust.
  • Mentor senior architects and promote best practices to elevate data architecture maturity across teams.

What's Needed?

  • 12+ years of experience in data architecture at an enterprise scale, with a proven track record of strategy and modernization.
  • Deep understanding of analytics, cloud data platforms, and data governance frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise data architecture, integration patterns, and AI/ML enablement architectures.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence decision-making at executive levels.
  • Relevant certifications such as TOGAF 9, IAF, or industry-recognized data architecture credentials are preferred.
