Metallus Internship Program

Internship Assignment- Summer 2027

  • Start date: 05/17/2027

  • Learn general steelmaking and Metallus procedures to help address small claim concerns (quick pays and inside sales issues)

  • Work closely with product management, CRM's, AML and sales to complete given, customer quality focused project (projects including bainite study for ICI/Hyundai crank, compiling and making property submittal recommendations to TSE manager and Finishing MetQA and correlating ArcelorMittal tube yield to Metallus' internal yield). 

Internship Qualifications:

  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5

  • Must have completed 30 or more credit hours by the end of the spring 2027 semester

  • Must be a full-time student attending an accredited two-year or four-year college/university

  • Preferred majors: Metallurgical Engineering, Material Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related
