Summary
The Customer Service Representative (Truck Gate) will coordinate all data entry and related processes for truck gate operations to ensure a safe, healthy, and accident-free work environment for all employees, carriers, and drivers.
Responsibilities
  • Process trucks as they arrive by recording the driver, truck number, and arrival date/time
  • Process trucks as they depart by entering load sheet info into iVELES and scanning bay tags to match with load sheet
    • Upload and confirm complete
    • Allow driver to proceed offsite
  • Inspect the truck gate and truck load lanes each hour to ensure cleanliness
    • Report any spills or trash to the driver or carrier office
    • Log inspection results in logbook
  • Update truck data on computer as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Education & Experience
  • HS Diploma/G.E.D. Required
  • 1 - 2 years of direct experience Required

Skills
  • Ability to work effectively in group/team settings Required
  • Ability to respond to IT problems and Customer queries Required
  • Interpersonal and communication skills Required
  • Knowledge of MS Office applications to include Excel experience Required

Working and Environmental Conditions
This position works in a plant manufacturing/warehouse setting at West Point, GA
