Primary Responsibilities:
  • Implement and administer new reinsurance agreements
  • Assist with PeopleSoft ledger tree management
  • Oversee, coach and develop staff
  • Provide supporting documentation for internal/external and regulatory audits
  • Communicate effectively with auditors at appropriate levels to resolve issues and findings and prepare responses
  • Participate in the monthly/quarterly close process, as needed
  • Review and/or prepare 401k employee benefit plan financial statements
  • Support and/or provide backup for various Corporate Accounting activities as requested and accounting related projects as assigned
  • Perform ad hoc projects, reporting, and consulting with segment finance teams

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 3 busy seasons in public accounting
  • Ability to comprehend and apply generally accepted accounting principles, and research and analyze accounting related issues
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Ability to build and maintain solid working relationships across the organization
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Big 4 experience
  • Healthcare experience
  • Experience with Hyperion Essbase and PeopleSoft Financials
  • Ability to understand and implement reinsurance accounting

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $91,700 to $163,700 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
