Job Description:
Job Summary
The Iron Technician assists with the breakdown and repair of all iron used in hydraulic fracturing operations, inputs and tracks repaired iron data into iron database, monitors iron database for accuracy, and assists with scheduling future iron testing jobs.
Responsibilities
  • Input and track repaired iron data in iron database
  • Assist with scheduling future iron testing jobs based on crew schedules
  • Monitor and review iron database for accuracy
  • Assist with the breakdown and repair of all iron used in hydraulic fracturing operations
  • Load and unload of iron from equipment
  • Break down and rebuild iron
  • Maintain compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies by attending all required HSE training sessions, safety meetings, and always utilize proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as an Iron Technician, required
  • Must pass Iron Technician competency certification test
  • Maintaining current, valid driver's license and a clean driving record, required
  • Clear communications skills with the ability to read, write, and follow instructions in English
  • Must be able to safely perform duties during a 12+ hour work shift that will include days or nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Self-motivated, independent, and reliable with a strong work ethic
