A premier national law firm is seeking an Environmental Associate Attorney to join its Atlanta office.

This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in advising and representing clients on sophisticated environmental regulatory, enforcement, compliance, and litigation matters across a broad range of industries.

Ideal Background

โ€ข 3+ years of environmental law experience gained at a sophisticated law firm or government agency

โ€ข Experience advising clients regarding federal and state environmental laws and regulations, including matters involving air, water, and land

โ€ข Experience handling environmental compliance, regulatory counseling, enforcement actions, permitting, investigations, and environmental litigation

โ€ข Experience working with environmental agencies, including the EPA and state environmental regulatory agencies

โ€ข Experience counseling clients regarding environmental risk management, due diligence, remediation, permitting, and compliance programs

โ€ข Experience supporting the environmental aspects of corporate transactions, real estate transactions, or project development is preferred

โ€ข Strong legal research, drafting, analytical, and communication skills
