Description


The Swim Meet Manager plays a pivotal role in the successful planning, coordination, and execution of swim meets hosted at the Jeff Rouse Swim and Sports Center. This individual ensures all meets run smoothly, safely, and efficiently, while delivering a positive experience for athletes, coaches, officials, and spectators.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee the logistics of all swim meet events.
  • Coordinate with the event host and staff to ensure meet readiness.
  • Set up and tear down of swim meet equipment (timing systems, computers, touchpads, etc.).
  • Manage meet operations software and equipment (e.g., Hy-Tek Meet Manager, Colorado Timing System, scoreboard, etc.).
  • Serve as the on-site contact during meets for issue resolution.
  • Perform preventative and restorative maintenance on the CTS and associated equipment
  • Ensure the safety and cleanliness of the competition area before, during, and after events.

Qualifications

  • Experience with Hy-Tek Meet Manager and Colorado Timing System.
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends as required.
  • Prior experience managing or assisting with swim meets (USA Swimming experience preferred).
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • First Aid/CPR/AED Certification.
