Blue Gems Swim School is Chicagoland's premier boutique family-owned swimming school focusing on an infant, children, and adult learn to swim lessons as well as a variety of progressive aquatic development programs.
Requirements:
  • Passion for working with children and helping them succeed
  • Prior synchronized swimming and/or swimming experience preferred
  • Knowledge of customer service standards and procedures

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Provide synchronized swimming and swim instruction based on the Blue Gems Swim School curriculum
  • Assist with creating choreography for routines
  • Attend and assist athletes during competitions
  • Enforce safety rules and regulations to prevent accidents
  • Assess student progress and complete required paperwork
  • Effectively communicate progress and feedback to students and their parents or guardians, ensure customer satisfaction
  • Report issues to management as appropriate
  • Place and remove lane lines, perform light cleaning duties around the pool deck
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
