HVAC Refrigeration Technician
The Area Mechanic HVAC Refrigeration Tech is more than just a modern-day Iceman of cooling off a building. They troubleshoot, perform maintenance and/or operational procedures in all phases of plumbing, HVAC, kitchen equipment, refrigeration work including air cooled and water-cooled chillers. Among many tasks, the Area Mechanic HVAC Refrigeration Tech must be able to repair or replace valves, bearings, belts and sheave replacement, blower and shaft replacement, insulation and damper repairs, motor repair or replacement, pump rebuilding and maintenance of boilers and air compressors. They should have a Universal EPA Certification.
Basic Qualifications :
  • 4 years of relative in-field professional experience
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Valid FL Driver's license
  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proficiency in standard office software programs and mobile electronic devices
  • Ability to work from elevated platforms and confined spaces
