We are looking for a reliable and skilled HVAC/ Electrician Technician. In this position, you will be responsible for a wide variety of activities such as repairs and performing preventative maintenance, and adjustments on our HVAC & Power distribution fleet. Being reliable and self-motivated with a keen eye for detail is essential in this job, as the ideal candidate will be a problem solver and have solid HVAC/ Electrical knowledge.

Requirements:


  • 3โ€“5+ years of HVAC experience; high school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Basic working knowledge of HVAC mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Understanding of high- and low-voltage electrical systems.
  • Experience using tools, including hand tools and electrical power tools.
  • Ability to read and utilize technical manuals and drawings.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for creative solutions.
  • Strong work ethic with a safety mindset.
  • Clean driving record required (driving company vehicles will be necessary).
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. regularly.
  • Ability to climb ladders and work at heights using proper safety equipment.
  • Ability to stand and be on feet for 8+ hours a day and walk on a variety of surfaces.
  • Willingness to work overtime and travel to jobsites nationwide as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform repairs on air-conditioning, heating, and power distribution equipment.
  • Replace worn-out parts, ranging from simple components to complex systems.
  • Conduct routine checks, maintenance, and adjustments on HVAC and power distribution equipment.
  • Install necessary accessories and equipment as needed.
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, and diagnose issues with various equipment and systems.
  • Test the functionality of all HVAC and power distribution systems, including fleet trailer HVAC and power systems.
  • Assist more experienced technicians with complex tasks.
  • Report any issues to the HVAC Manager, including tasks completed, those requiring attention, and ongoing work.
