Standard Work Schedule:

  • Monday - Friday 7:00am - 4:00pm. MUST be willing to be flexible as jobs may change.

Position Summary:


The HVAC Helper assists the onsite personnel with installation of HVAC/Electrical equipment, clean up, maintaining equipment and supplies.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Assist the onsite personnel with unloading material/equipment and placing it near the area on the project where it will be staged and or installed.
  • Maintain good housekeeping while on site.
  • At times, work in confined spaces such as attics, basements, roofs, and crawl spaces.
  • At times, work in areas with heights.
  • HVAC: Assists installer with placing and securing trunk, return lines, branch, and take off lines.
  • Electrical: Assist Electricians with installation of conduit (EMT/Rigid/PVC), Romex, mc cable, pulling wire, lighting, and lighting controls.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Required: High school diploma or GED.
  • Required: Valid Driver's License
  • Preferred: Experience in new construction
  • Preferred: 1+ years of experience in the HVAC Trade

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to adhere to large amounts of standing, walking, bending, squatting, sitting and lifting.
  • Must be able to pick up, lift, carry and move up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to work in all weather conditions (including heat, rain, cold and wind) while wearing appropriate PPE.
