What is Humana coding?

Humana coding refers to the process of medical coding for the health insurance company Humana. Medical coders working for or with Humana review clinical documentation and assign standardized codes to diagnoses, procedures, and services. You can expect to attend cross-functional meetings, communicate findings, and provide coding expertise to help streamline processes and uphold regulatory standards. This teamwork-oriented environment not only enhances efficiency but also provides opportunities to broaden your knowledge across the healthcare administration spectrum.
