Who we are looking for:
The Cash Research Assistant will be responsible for ensuring all Cash research items are completed timely and if posting corrections are needed, they are processed accurately, and the proper notification is provided to the requires.
  • Location: Onsite daily in Englewood, CO
  • Compensation: $20-28/hr

Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for monitoring and assigning tasks to ensure they are worked timely and accurately
  • Research payment issues and respond accordingly
  • Prepare daily system balancing to ensure accuracy and escalate any discrepancies to management
  • Responsible for balancing the Cash Database daily to ensure items posted are deposited; also ensure items are escalated prior to being aged
  • Post payments, payoffs, and liquidations
  • Collaborate with other business units to streamline processes and work together to provide a better customer experience
  • Complete special projects as assigned

What you'll need to be successful:
  • Some College/associate degree preferred, High School graduate, GED, or equivalent work experience
  • 2 - 5 years of experience working in a Mortgage Servicing is required
  • Previous bankruptcy experience preferred
  • MSP Experience is preferred
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, while still being detailed and results oriented
  • Effective verbal, and written communicator
  • Must be disciplined and well organized with attention to detail
  • Comfortable working in a team environment
  • Minimum 2 years of experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio, etc.) with a technical understanding of imaging software and systems
