Behavioral Health Connections (BHC) in Brentwood, TN is looking for an HR Coordinator to work Hybrid model Monday to Friday 20 hours weekly. The Human Resources Coordinator performs daily administrative tasks and services to support the Human Resources Department.  The HR Coordinator provides a high level of customer service with a strong emphasis on support to employees and assistance with the timekeeping and bi-weekly upload process. This position requires proficient data entry skills and ability to use electronic data processing equipment. A proven work record with firsthand experience with payroll and financial software applications. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from various levels of management, individual employees, directors, HR and corporate payroll.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and submit bi-weekly payroll uploads to UHS payroll.
  • Assist with payroll review and reconciliation for all scheduled entities.
  • Coordinate with human resources, working closely with departments’ staff, as well as with electronic onboarding systems to ensure accurate and complete input of employee data.
  • Process time interface, calculate wages, deductions, and other payroll related components including factoring in overtime, bonus payments, and any other relevant adjustments and upload into the payroll system for payroll processing.
  • Answer questions about direct deposits and pay cards for employees.
  • Review for proper authorization and process manual off cycle check requests, verify stop pays, voids, direct deposit reversals, and payroll adjustments.
